How does it work?
One day of science
Conference via interactive zoom calls (not a webinar)
All presenters talk during their usual waking hours
Join when you can – watch a recording later
Anyone can submit an abstract but we particularly want to support submission of abstracts from
People who are currently finding it difficult to travel to attend in-person conferences
For any reason
People whose work is so cross disciplinary that it is hard to find a 'home'
Everyone is welcome to attend!
In 2023 we had presenters joining us from across the world
Who is running this and have we done this before?
The conference is being run and managed by the Psychiatric Genetics group from QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Australia
The Equinox conference started in 2023 and this is the second year
We successfully ran and managed conferences in this format in 2020 and 2021 for the Behavior Genetics Association - each had more than 400 attendees.

*The equinox is on a Sunday this year so we figured Friday was better.
